The Cherries slumpt to defeat this afternoon at the hands of Bristol City, leaving Aston Gate on the wrong side of a 3-1 result.
Despite a glorious James Hayter stike just before the break after Mark McCammon had put the home side 1-0 up early on, a brace from Steve Brooker (although one of these was a clear deflection off captain Neil Young) ensured all three point for The Robins.
The result allowed City to leapfrog the Cherries into 13th place, and see Bournemouth drop a place to 15th.
The Cherries’ next match is Tuesday night at home to Barnsley (kick off 7:45pm).
