Former Portsmouth striker James Keene has recently been training with the Cherries.

The 26 year old forward has spent the past few years in Sweden and Norway, but has recently returned to England in search of a Football League club.

Keene previously spent a three month loan spell at Dean Court in 2005, making 14 appearances and scoring 4 goals.

AFC Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury told the Daily Echo

“James Keene has trained with us and he is someone I was aware of because we were at Portsmouth at the same time.

“He has been playing in Sweden but wants to come home.

“There is nothing much more to say on him at the moment, but we will keep tabs on his situation.”
