AFC Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury has confirmed that he will try to sign a midfielder and a striker ahead of the transfer window deadline.

The transfer window closes in 15 days time and Bradbury has set his sights on trying to sign a new midfielder to replace Anton Robinson and a new striker to replace Danny Ings.

The sale of Danny Ings has broken AFC Bournemouth’s biggest ever transfer sale.

According to chairman Eddie Mitchell, Bradbury has been told that some of the money from the sale will be available for squad rebuilding.

Bradbury told the Daily Echo

‘…The chairman has spoken to me and he is going to help me, on the player front, to bring in a couple of fresh faces if I want to, which I will. I am looking at it at the moment.

“It has been no secret that I am trying to get in another midfielder. At the moment, I have only got three so I need someone there, as well as another striker…’

‘…With a couple more additions, we can be more than a handful for anyone in this league…’
