AFC Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury has revealed that his search for a new assistant manager has been whittled down to two candidates.

Contrary to press speculation, @afcbournemouth can confirm that Graham Rix is not in Lee Bradbury’s shortlist for the vacant assistant role.

Speaking after the Cherries 0-0 draw with Oldham, Lee Bradbury told afcb.co.uk

‘It will be at the top of my agenda to get it sorted out at the early part of the week. It’s an important role and good time to bring someone in, they will have ten days or so after they’re appointed to get to know the lads and get to work on the training ground.

‘We’ve got it down to the last two and need to finalise it on Monday or Tuesday…’
