Stock completes Preston move
The biggest news since the last issue has been the sale of midfielder and former Welsh Under-21 playmaker Brian Stock to Preston North End in the region of £150,000. Speaking to afcb.co.uk Brian talked about the difficulty in leaving The Cherries.

”It was a gut wrench to leave, I had to ask myself if I really wanted to leave a club like this, it was a hard, hard decision.’

‘I’ve been here at Bournemouth since I was a boy but Preston offered me a great opportunity to play in the Championship and are a club with realistic Premiership ambitions. Bournemouth is a lovely club and I’ve loved every minute of it from start to finish, and I will take some great memories with me.’ Full Story


Hayter continues to be linked
Star striker James Hayter has been continuously linked to clubs across The Championship and League One, with Huddersfield Town and Bristol City both confirming their interest, and with the likes of QPR, Plymouth, Nottingham Forest, Southampton, and Barnsley also belived to be tracking the Cherries top scorer.

Chairman Peter Phillips has already turned down 2 bids from Bristol City, describing the offers as ‘wholly inadequate’.

Phillips added: ‘If the right club came in for him with the right offer, it would be very difficult to stand in his way if the move was in his best interests. You know the fans would understand, but I don’t think they would understand him going to Bristol City.’ Full Story


Surman loan comes to an end
The Cherries away trip to Southend was Drew Surman’s final game in what is hoped to only be his first spell with the Cherries.

Speaking to afcb.co.uk, manager Sean O’Driscoll said ‘Obviously we would have liked to have kept Drew for longer, but his form has been excellent and Southampton have noticed that’.

Talking about his time with The Cherries, Drew said ‘Matt Mills told me all about Bournemouth. When I knew they were interested in taking me on loan, he said it would be a good move for me.’

Tindall is back!
The 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe will be a game to remember for miracle man Jason Tindall, who appeared as a subsitute almost two years after his last game for the Cherries due to injury.

Speaking to BBC Sport Jason said ‘I’ve been waiting for this moment for such a long time,’.

‘Although I was only on the pitch for a short time, it was just great to be back. I’ve put a lot of hard work in trying to get myself fit, but this has made everything worthwhile.’ Full Story


Cummings out for most of the season
Warren Cummings is according to his specialist ‘bang on course’ for a full recovery on his broken leg which was sustained at Swindon last March.

The player is however frustrated at news that this means he will still be out for another 2 months. Full Story
