Bournemouth got back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon as Yeovil were sent back to Somerset with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sean O’Driscoll’s mighty AFC Bournemouth.

Steve Fletcher, returning after some time out through injury, put the home side into the lead on 33 minutes and notched up his first goal of the season – latching onto the end of a James Hayter step-over and putting the ball into the back of the visitors net from 15 yards.

That goal, supplied by Stephen Purches, came after a point blank shot from Hayter was saved for the second week in a row after good work from both Callum Hart and Fletcher.

Yeovil were restricted to long range shots for the most part, but for an Aaron Davies shot which was blocked after beating the offside trap.

Before the game, the site ran a pole titled…
