AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond has spoken about how administration affects him on and off the field.

The Cherries manager is obviously aiming to steer the club away from the league one drop zone, but as that chance falls away with every game played, the next target for professional pride is to go down with less than a 10 point gap.

Speaking before the away defeat to Southend, Bond told the Sunday Mail

‘We will do our best to stay up, But if we do go down, we will make sure it is by no more than nine points. We will know that, as a group of professionals, we have done all we could. Relegation will have been nothing to do with us…’

On his own future at Dean Court Bond added…

‘…I know how vulnerable I am ? my coaches and I could get the sack tomorrow and we would become just other creditors.’
