Bond will not resign

AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond has told Sky Sports News that he will not resign as manager of the Cherries.

The question was posed by Sky Sports News when under similar circumstances Kevin Blackwell handed in his notice at Luton and was then sacked with weeks remaining of his notice period.

‘I have not discussed my position at all.

‘Kevin Blackwell resigned from what I can gather and I certainly have no intention of doing that. It has been difficult but the players have performed well and the supporters have seen that.

‘The administrators have told us to just try and win as many games as possible between now and the end of the season…’
