AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond was happier with the Cherries performance against Walsall at the weekend.

Although the Daily Echo may be pushing it when they wrote, In a season of precious few highs at Dean Court, this was arguably Cherries’ best home league performance to date. But then again, there hasn’t been too much to compare it too.

Walsall put in one of the worst performances at Dean Court for some time and the Cherries really should have taken their first home win of the season.

But as Bournemouth sat back in the second half, an equaliser for the visitors was inevitable.

After the goal, the Cherries upped their game again, however poor finishing from Bradbury left the scores level.

Bond told the Daily Echo…

‘I always felt that one goal possibly wouldn’t be enough and that’s how it turned out, I was pleased with everything, apart from the result.’
