Bond looks for striker

AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond is on the search for a new striker.

With veteran striker Lee Bradbury suspended for three games and Sam Vokes being called up for the Welsh Under 21’s, the Cherries will only have two recognised strikers for the league trip to Hartlepool (Live on Sky Sports).

So Bond will look to the loan market again and he told afcb.co.uk…

‘I’d like to bring in somebody to strengthen us up front. Lee will be missing for three games and Sam Vokes will miss the Hartlepool game with the Welsh Under 21 squad.

‘I’ve been wanting to do something about that for a while without much success, it’s just been highlighted that much more with Lee and Sam’s situation.’
