Bond: Killing ourselves

AFC Bournemouth ‘manager’ Kevin Bond seemed disillusioned after the 2-0 away defeat to Oldham.

It capped off a poor few days with 2-0 defeats in both away games to Leeds and Oldham, despite Bond moving to bring in an emergency ‘keeper and the squad staying in the North of England in a plush hotel.

‘It was one of those nights where chances were few and far between.

‘As has been the way for us too often this season, we gave them two penalties and gifted them the game…’

‘…The most disappointing part is we’re killing ourselves. It’s not other teams opening us up, that’s the most frustrating part.’
