AFC Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter was pleased to claim the Player of the Month award for October.
The Republic Of Ireland midfielder had been outstanding throughout the course of the month, with excellent displays, particularly against Tottenham Hotspur.
Arter is currently away on International duty and could be in line to make his full competitive debut for Republic Of Ireland in their World Cup qualifier against Austria in Vienna on Saturday.
Arter told afcb.co.uk…
‘…We`ve had some really good results and some really good individual performances so I`m pleased to get it.
“…Overall, I`m happy with the award. You want to be appreciated by your fans and I have a good relationship with them.”
Speaking to the Daily Echo regarding Republic Of Ireland he added…
“International football will always be different, no matter who the manager is, It`s very hard to get that day-to-day environment with international teams, when you`re only there for a week at a time.
“They (Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane) are different to Eddie Howe. I wouldn`t say they have different beliefs. They have different ways of preparing for games, which is to be expected. Growing up, Roy Keane was someone I looked up to and it`s good for me to learn from two different people I have a lot of respect for.”
