AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told Sky Sports…
“Overall I think it was two contrasting halves for us and contrasting emotions. First half we weren’t quite on it. We allowed Arsenal to show their best qualities. In the second half we were the opposite. We were the front foot team, I felt we played very well and created a number of chances, it just wouldn’t fall for us. We got beat because of our first-half display.”
Not the result we wanted, but it’s only a loss if you lose faith. We’ll keep on moving forward! ???? pic.twitter.com/jdh24au0Qy

Not bad in the second half. Philip Billing was better, Ryan Fraser was just advertising himself instead of trying to win. Good to see Simon Francis play well, more of a centre-half than full-back these days though.
Danjuma looked lively, looking forward to seeing him start. Harry Wilson looks like an attacking-midfielder, too weak to be a winger, especially how we play. Dominic Solanke, I thought he was poor, kept running away from goal and hesitating to shoot. Lerma is just Lerma, but my man of the match is Steve Cook, he got on the end of everything, intercepted everything, even covered for Ake on occasions. How he isn’t in the England squad, I don’t know.
Look at it this way, it was 5-1 last season, and an improved Arsenal beat us 1-0 this season, and they didn’t look dangerous whatsoever in the second half. Give it a few games and the confidence will grow in the squad, someone will get a right hiding! – Join the conversation, click here
