AFC Bournemouth centre back Nathan Ake wants the Cherries to bounce back following the Cherries heavy defeat to Huddersfield Town.
Following a run of seven games unbeaten in the Premier League, the Cherries had climbed up the table from the relegation places to as high as 9th following the victory over Stoke City.
Defeat to Huddersfield has only seen the side drop to 10th, but following results elsewhere, the Cherries are now just five points clear of relegation.
This week the squad have travelled to Portugal for some warm weather training as AFC Bournemouth have no games this weekend.
Ake was quoted by the Daily Echo…
‘…For the past few weeks we have been doing so well. The first goal was sloppy and the second goal was sloppy and overall, the play wasn’t good enough.
‘We were second-best to everything. They won every header and every second ball and I think that was the story of the day.’
‘The most important thing is not to overreact. We are still in a good position. The only thing we can do is bounce back.’
Very bad and disappointing result today. Second best everywhere on the pitch. Thank you to the fans. We know what time you had to get up to come and how long the travels were to watch the game! We have to do everything in the next game to make it right!🍒

It’s funny isn’t it how annoyed we get when the ‘big’ teams always blame themselves when they lose to us rather than giving us any credit .
Yet here we are worse performance since Blythe ….. Maybe Hudds just played their best game of the season and made us look second rate . – Join the conversation here.
