AFCB XI against West Ham – All change!

|

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe made his expected wholesale changes for the trip to Burton Albion on Wednesday night.

The Cherries made ten changes, with striker Dominic Solanke the only starter from the victory over south coast neighbours Southampton to maintain his spot.

AFC Bournemouth, however, went on to lose the game, following 30 minutes of delays for a number of floodlight failures.

Hopefully, the Cherries first-team regulars will spark into action on Saturday and moral will not dimmer from the cup upset.

…hopefully back to ‘proper’ football and a team that will perform!

Bench: Artur Boruc/Jordon Ibe/Lewis Cook/Dominic Solanke/Jack Simpson/Chris Mepham/Stacey(or Andrew Surman)

..wouldn’t think that Lloyd Kelly, Danjuma or Simon Francis are quite ready yet for a call up based on Wedneday night fitness and match readiness showing?

I doubt anyone involved in last night’s debacle will start. Not just because the lot of them want dropping, but also because the circumstances of the evening, players standing around getting cold before starting again, were far from ideal fitness-wise. Several of them are recently back from injury and Eddie Howe will want to rest them.

Can’t see what Fraser did last night to suggest Eddie Howe will put him back into the starting 11. We’ll be unchanged for the 3rd league game in a row( unless Smith is fit..doubtful). Unchanged is a good thing it leads to consistency. I suspect Kelly will be on the bench.
Going to be a tough game. There are always goals in these games! I can’t see us losing but undecided if it’s going to be a draw or win. Home advantage just tips the scales. – Join the conversation, click here.
