So, the dreaded administration has happened.

A total of 35 points have now gone missing from League 1. Meanwhile Premiership clubs decide that there`s even more money to be made from “Gam£ 39”. Middlesbrough chief executive Keith Lamb, speaking in favour said “I can only find one flaw in it and that is the one that has been described as the ‘sporting integrity flaw”. Such a small flaw too Keith.

Despite the uncertainty that now surrounds ‘our` club, credit must undoubtedly go to the team for putting what must be considerable personal concerns behind them to turn in a thumping 4-1 away victory at Luton.

These will be difficult times for employees, creditors and fans. The plight of John Bailey was recently bought to light in the local press. Like other creditors, JB may never see a penny of the money that he was owed. It`s difficult not to feel sympathy with his call for an enquiry into where this all went wrong.

The stadium sale, we were assured, would put an end to all our financial woes.

However, the figures didn`t add up then and they certainly don`t now. From a dumb ol` supporters perspective it`s very difficult to see just what benefits the club actually accrued from an influx of £3.5m.

Some may say that it`s all in the past and that we`ll never find out so don`t bother looking. It seems we can put men on the moon and 4,000 songs in our pockets, but finding out how AFC Bournemouth ended up under the administrator is just too difficult. I`m sure that creditors, loan note holders and John Bailey don`t see it that way.

As a Trust representative of the fans we have a duty to keep pushing for answers. If we don`t get them then what is stopping the club from repeating the mistakes, possibly with the same people involved?

Talking of people, it is interesting to see that there appear to be one or two people on the horizon expressing an interest. Whether that interest becomes reality remains to be seen. At this point, AFC Bournemouth Supporters Trust is not favouring one particular group over another. We simply want the best future for AFC Bournemouth.
