AFCB set to officially go into Admin

AFC Bournemouth are set to officially go into administration on Friday.

After a couple of weeks of filing for intention to go into administration and a winding up petition lodged by HMRC, the Cherries are set to announce on Friday that they have gone into administration.

The Daily Echo have reported that Begbies Traynor will take control of the club whilst in administration.

The Football League are also expected to hit AFC Bournemouth with a ten point deduction ahead of the vital six pointer away at Luton, leaving the Cherries rock bottom of League One.

The news follows shortly after the club announced that five members of staff had been made redundant from Bourne Red and the sales and marketing department.
