AFC Bournemouth and England striker Callum Wilson is not the only wanted striker on the south coast.

Chelsea confirm Wilson interest as Howe states his future is with Bournemouth

Young French striker Lys Mousset is also a January transfer target for another Premier League club from London.

According to a report from West London Sport, Mousset is wanted by Claudio Ranieri at Fulham.

Fulham were promoted from the Championship last season and spent big during the summer in a bid to establish their safety in the top flight of English football.

However, their recruitment hasn’t been successful and ultimately they’ve had to change managers and direction during the opening months of the campaign.

The report stated…

New Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri is keen to bring in a striker

Adding…

Fulham want to sign Bournemouth striker Lys Mousset during next month’s transfer window.

The 22-year-old was a from Ligue 2 side Le Havre for £5.4million in June 2016.

He initially struggled for game time, primarily being used in the cup competitions.

Mousset: I have the impression I’m wasting my time

But more recently he has been seeing more and more action in the Premier League and has made a total of 44 league appearances totalling 922 minutes with over half of that time coming in the past twelve months.

His recent substitute appearances appear to suggest that whilst he is behind first-choice strike pairing Callum Wilson and Joshua King, he is ahead of former England international Jermain Defoe in the pecking order at Dean Court.

Crystal Palace and trio of other clubs chase striker

With Callum Wilson linked with a move to Chelsea, Jermain Defoe linked with a move to Crystal Palace and now Mousset linked to Fulham, AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told the Daily Echo

“It sounds like we’re going to be left with no strikers at this rate!”

Howe added…

“…(Mousset is) a big part of our future.”

Think Jermain Defoe will go somewhere…
