Gerald Krasner the joint administrator of AFC Bournemouth called a press conference on Thursday morning.

During the Press Conference Krasner spoke about the acceptable offer that has been made for the club and how anyone else who wishes to bid for the club have until 3pm on Tuesday to do so.

A creditors meeting has been pencilled in for 7th April, where the creditors will vote on whether or not to accept the proposals made by Krasner.

If this is accepted it is likely that the Cherries will have new owners before the end of the season.

Krasner told the press conference…

‘As of last night two of the consortium’s have got together and have put in a joint offer in writing in a form that is acceptable to me. I’m not at this stage going to name who they are or give the value of the offer made. The offer is of sufficient quantity to allow the administrators to seriously consider it with a view to proposing a voluntary arrangement to the creditors by way of an exit strategy. This is most important as to escape the fifteen point penalty Leeds got you have to obtain an exit strategy through a voluntary arrangement to get the share in the club transferred to the new company.

I am not at this stage accepting that offer…’
