Arsenal and England international midfielder Jack Wilshere could be a summer target for Italian side AC Milan.
Wilshere was first linked to AC Milan, along with Italian rivals Roma during the summer transfer window when the 24 year old was made available on loan by Arsenal.
However despite interest from the Italian clubs and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, Wilshere opted to make the temporary switch to the south coast to join AFC Bournemouth on a season long loan deal.
Part of the reason behind that decision was his exclusion from the England squad under former manager Sam Allardyce.
After meeting Cherries manager Eddie Howe, Wilshere felt he was best served in leaving Arsenal for a season.
After the 2016/17 season ends, Wilshere will return to Arsenal, where he has admitted that he may have to leave if he doesn`t feature in their first team plans.
calciomercato have speculated that?
” Incoming owners, Sino Sports-Europe, will inject much needed capital into the Italian giants (AC Milan) and may be in a position to tempt Wilshere will a lucrative new offer.”
” The Englishman admitted that the rossoneri did contact his representatives before the start of the new campaign, but that they failed to convince him that he was the player they were really after.
