Back in January Club Brugge winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld was being tracked by Italian giants AC Milan, UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool, UEFA Champions League runners-up Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.

According to the Daily Mail, AC Milan had a £9million transfer bid rejected by Belgian outfit Club Brugge during the last transfer window and the 22-year-old remained plying his trade in the Jupiler League whilst also obtaining UEFA Champions League experience as Club Brugge reached the third qualifying round.

Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld scored six goals and contributed four assists across all competitions last season, despite being sidelined with an ankle injury.

Earlier this month media reports in Belgium first linked AFC Bournemouth with interest in Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld, with claims that AFC Bournemouth’s scouting network had watched him against Heracles Almelo, AZ and Sporting club de Portugal.

However, Het Laatste Nieuws claimed the Cherries were not going to follow up their interest.

But Sky Sports News have reported that not only has a fee of £13.7million been agreed, the Netherland’s international has also completed a medical ahead of a move to the south coast with AFC Bournemouth.

Well….that was from left centre [ despite the previous link posted ]. Don’t know much about him to be honest but that price level seems good sensible value.
Nathan Ake will know about him of course and am sure will have given some insight to Eddie Howe about his character. – Join the conversation, click here.
